Job Summary:
Under the direction of a Manager & Supervisor, our Metal Components Lead will lead and work within our manufacturing production facility alongside other team members to safely & efficiently operate various CNC controlled machines and equipment to produce quality metal products for the consumer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate various CNC controlled machines, such as presses and rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality
- Operate forklifts
- Utilize computer, basic skills needed
- Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
- Provide cost saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to produce a quality product

- Ability to accurately use measuring devices

- Physical dexterity to operate machinery
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to occasionally lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, perform reaching pinching, gripping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending
- Fill in when and where needed
- Work hours as required
- Be willing to cross train and be promotable
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high production manufacturing environment
- Light Gage Roll Forming and automated Press Brake Operations Experience.
- Ability to read prints for Metal Trim Fabrication
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift-up to 80 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work in a varying temperature in a warehouse environment.
- Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
