Operations Manager

Job description

Multi-unit fast casual restaurant chain in the Cedar Valley Area of Iowa is currently accepting applications for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing, troubleshooting, and coordinating the day to day operations of the restaurants.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete responsibility for multiple restaurant locations, managing all staff members, financials, labor issues, inventory, quality and customer service efforts
• Making sure all stores are adequately staffed, trained and open for their posted hours of operation
• Ensuring the consistent quality of service, safety and other standards that the company, franchise, employees and customers expect.
• Financial performance responsibilities include meeting labor cost goals, food cost goals, and sales goals
• Training, coaching and leading all team and management members, to provide the level of service and satisfaction expected by the company and franchise.

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 years’ experience in the fast casual restaurant business as an Operations/District Manager/Multi-Unit Supervisor or 2 years of experience as a General Manager of a high/medium volume restaurant.
• Strong presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, coaching skills, customer service skills and interpersonal relationship skills
• Excellent grasp and proven history of meeting financial goals including sales, food cost, and labor cost.
• Strong sense of customer service, management skills and a strong passion for the food service and restaurant industry
• Ability to effectively coach managers and team members and interact with customers in the restaurants
• Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a background, drug test and provide references upon request.
• Some travel will be required

Total Compensation: Up to $70,000 / yr. plus benefits
