The Personal Lines Client Manager will be tasked with supporting a book of business of personal lines property and casualty clients. The role will assist producers and account leaders in servicing new and renewal business as well as interfacing with carrier representatives of leading property and casualty insurance providers.
This role his highly customer facing, and will interact with clients on a daily basis in the service of plan coverages. The Personal Lines Client Manager will apply insurance knowledge and expertise to increase customer understanding of coverages and the value of insurance.
Essential Functions
- Assist with quoting new and renewal business across property and casualty insurance providers.
- Educate clients on policy coverage changes, and general policy information.
- Prepare all materials related to insurance coverages (eg. documentation, ID cards, account summaries, etc.).
- Provide high-level of service to clients.
- Work proactively to plan for client renewals.
- Stay informed of industry trends, coverages, and policy types and how they can impact a client's needs.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years of property and casualty insurance experience is required.
- Experience working in a client or account management role servicing personal lines coverage his highly preferred.
- Experience working within an independent agency or broker with exposure to different insurance carriers is preferred, but not required.
- Active Ohio property & casualty license.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong customer facing skills.
- High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
