POLICE OFFICER POSITION
TOWNSHIP OF FINDLAY
The Township of Findlay is currently accepting applications for the position of full time Police Patrol Officer. APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE CURRENT ACT 120 TRAINING COMPLETED AT TIME OF HIRING, must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 21 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, possess a valid driver’s license, and be physically and mentally fit to perform the essential duties of a police officer.
Applications may be obtained, in person, at the Township of Findlay Police Department located at 1271 Route #30, Clinton, PA 15026 or on line at www.findlay.pa.us. A $35.00, non- refundable application fee applies. ALL COMPLETED APPLICATIONS AND FEE MUST BE RECEIVED IN PERSON BY 4:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2022.
A physical ability test will be conducted on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 8:00 A.M. at the West Allegheny High School Athletic Facility and a written examination at 12:00 P.M. at the Findlay Township Activity Center, 310 Main Street, Imperial, PA 15126.
Successful candidates shall then be subject to a physical, psychological, and polygraph examination, as well as an extensive background investigation.
