Project Manager - Capital Equipment

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager position is a full time position requiring an individual with excellent customer relationship building skills, good time management, multi-tasking abilities and must be able to work well with other company departments as well as distributors in order to build strong relationships so that strict machine delivery deadlines may be met.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Correspond with the Sales Team and Distributors on all future machine orders. This may include providing freight quotes, software quotes, research on existing customers, etc.
• After a machine proposal and deposit are received, contact the customer to obtain all required documents needed for this sale, and continue communications throughout the entire machine production process.
• Correspond with all Departments concerning Machine orders.
• Enter sales orders and invoices required for the new machine sale.
• Schedule Customer Software Training Courses.
• Schedule machine freight.
• Schedule machine installations and onsite training.
• Book airfare, car rental, hotel, etc. for company employees as needed.
• Coordinate with accounting on due payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Very strong organization skills.
• Must have professional oral and written business communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs and Sheets.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience managing high-value projects.
• Experience managing freight Logistics.
• SalesForce.com or similar sales or project software.
• PMP certification

Required Education and Certifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of a 2 year degree in business or other related fields.
