Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the leasing process, from marketing and advertising to screening potential tenants and negotiating lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and identify any necessary repairs or improvements.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair work, including obtaining bids, hiring contractors, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Prepare and manage budgets for the property, including monitoring expenses and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software.
- Experience in facilities management, including overseeing maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to market properties effectively and negotiate lease agreements.
- Familiarity with contract management, including reviewing and executing contracts.
- Knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program regulations is a plus.
- Conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as OneSite is preferred.
