Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality to join our team. As the Director of Quality, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company maintains the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our operations. This is a key leadership position that requires strong knowledge of quality systems, FDA regulations, and project management.
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Manage Day to Day operations of Quality department and oversee the quality technicians and support personnel.
- Work directly with customers on effectively resolving quality issues.
- Work internal and customer root cause and corrective actions and maintain the CAR log.
- Monitor, measure, and maintain Quality Objective Trends and act when they don’t meet their goal.
- Implement a process to strive for zero defects and continually improve customer quality ratings.
- Perform training throughout the organization and maintain/facilitate special process personnel testing and certifications.
- Manage both internal and external customer/process audits.
- Maintain Quality document records showing conformance of Risk Management and Continuous Improvement Process
- Gather, document, and maintain the Customer Compliment and Complaint Process and Log
- Perform PO and Process Router reviews for approvals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the Automotive, Aerospace, or related Industry.
- Must have full understanding and extensive experience with IATF 16949 and AS9100 QMS Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
