Job Summary:

We are a CLIA-certified and licensed medical organization looking for a Sample Collector who will be performing and administering our services to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting laboratory specimens and complying with the required collection protocols. The Sample Collector has the freedom to work in a variety of industries such as assisted living facilities, private establishments, and other businesses that may require diagnostic testing services.

Job Description:

The Sample Collector plays an important role in protecting the lives of the members of our community. This crucial role involves actively identifying and engaging with eligible individuals and businesses in need of medical diagnostic services. By establishing direct engagement channels with community members, you effectively facilitate their seamless access to medical diagnostic testing services, thereby ensuring a proactive and comprehensive approach to public health management. Your role directly contributes to the early detection and prevention of infectious diseases in the community. Through educational interactions, you help raise awareness about infectious diseases, testing methods, and preventive measures within the community. Responsibilities:

Actively identify, engage and recommend our diagnostic testing services to eligible individuals and businesses from your community.

Collect laboratory samples from individuals using provided test kits, ensuring proper handling and adherence to established protocols.

Provide clear instructions on sample collection and assist individuals in completing the necessary documentation.

Coordinate sample logistics, including packaging and transportation, to ensure timely delivery to the laboratory facility.

Record and encode insurance mandated patient data through the use of our HIPAA-compliant web application.

Collaborate with the testing facility to ensure smooth communication and efficient processing of collected samples.

Adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols during the sample collection process.

Comply with the necessary medical information required by insurance companies in order to adhere to eligibility protocols.

Qualifications:

Absolutely no experience needed, we provide training
Previous experience in healthcare or a related field is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
