What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Technician position at Confidential?
- This individual will be the final check before shipments are loaded and sent out.
- They will be matching the labels against the product to ensure there were no errors from the packers.
- They will ensure the task was completed correctly.
- Under minimum supervision, perform sophisticated quality controls.
- Inspects to extremely close tolerance and Supervises all forms of quality control inspection, sampling, testing, and control of components, products, and raw materials to meet established quality standards.
- Operates as part of a team.
- Will be working on the dock around picking/packing employees, forklift operators, etc.
- Must be able to stop production if they discover errors and be able to go back to the line and have them correct the issues.
- Will be times where they need to use a step ladder to inspect the top of some vessels.
Requirements:
- Experience - Nice to have previous experience with inspecting but not required.
- Individual must be dependable, very detail-oriented, and a sense of urgency
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
