Vice President of Operations

The Vice President of Operations will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational performance of our hotel portfolio. This role entails providing strategic leadership, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional guest and associate experiences across all properties.

  • Develop comprehensive short and long-term financial and operations plans that align with the company's goals and objectives in critical areas such as revenue growth, market share performance, guest and employee satisfaction, asset preservation, and net operating income.
  • Establish and enforce operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and hotel brand standards and regulations, promoting operational efficiency and consistency across all properties.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and brand standard-performance.
  • Oversee the development and execution of annual business plans, operating budgets, capital expenditures plans, and revenue strategies to maximize the portfolio’s financial performance.
  • Establish key performance indicator (KPI) metrics, and dashboards to monitor operational performance, financial results, and market trends.
  • Provide guidance and support to Regional Directors of Operations (RDOs) to achieve established performance goals and standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments including sales, marketing, accounting, and human resources to drive synergy and alignment in operations.
  • Monitor competitive activities and use insights to develop effective action plans that support the company's strategic objectives and drive revenue growth, market share performance, and ADR.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development within the operations team.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all operational areas.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in hotel management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple properties.

Experience in strategic planning and implementation.

Experience as a leadership influencer who builds strong relationships and champions the importance and correlation of people to business success.

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and guest satisfaction in the hospitality industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
