What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Cabling Technician position at Congle US?
NETWORK CABLING TECHNICIAN
LOW VOLTAGE CABLING - Fiber splicing, termination, and cabling with proper cable management. CAT5,6,8 ethernet cabling, termination into wall jacks or biscuit, troubleshooting and testing, Demarc extension.
TELCO EXPERIENCE - T-1, DIA, Coax, Ethernet, DSL telephony, VOIP,
PBX, POTS troubleshooting, cross connect alarm lines, elevator lines and burglar, testing for Dial tone on 66block
INSTALLATIONS (indoor) - CCTV, pro A/V, digital signage, DMB, computer hardware, server hardware, printers, server rack build out, IDF installations, access control, and conference room setup.
INSTALLATION (outdoor) - Antenna, Wi-Fi booster, external cradle point/router, dish, Solar panel.
TROUBLESHOOTING - network gears, cable troubleshooting, network troubleshooting and possible device configuration.
SMARTHANDS - cutovers, turnups, circuit activation, server troubleshoot, kiosk, business deployments, refresh, POS service, KDS.
SURVEY - Full network survey and quote, picture survey.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.50 - $40.00 per hour
