Gate Clerk / Administrative Clerk

We take pride in consistently delivering superior and reliable service, a broad scope of services and an exemplary safety record.  We’re currently seeking a Gate / Data Entry Clerk at our local facility.

The Gate /Data Entry Clerk is primarily responsible for accurately completing inspections on containers, trailers, and chassis along and recording visual damages. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals whose primary focus is on safety and productivity. In this role, you will work outdoors and in the office to check-in drivers as they arrive at our depot facility to drop off or pick up intermodal equipment.

Responsibilities

• Processes paperwork for equipment entering or leaving the yard gate
• Document the conditions of trailers, chassis or containers based on documents provided by customers, surveyors, and inspectors.
• Work closely with customers to make sure system is properly updated with drop off/pick up information
• Ensures work area is clean, organized, and orderly
• Performs work in accordance with established safety & quality management procedures
• Answers telephone
• Performs admin tasks such as AP, AR, Data Entry, ordering office supplies, customer service and running reports
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
