Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Investment Banking)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with over 8 years of expertise in investment banking.

Core Responsibilities

Client Engagement:

• Assist senior bankers in meetings by preparing presentations and delivering analyses.
• Clearly present key insights to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Help build and maintain client relationships by delivering timely and accurate reports.
  
  

Reporting And Compliance

• Draft and manage comprehensive reports on projects, market trends, and client portfolios.
• Ensure that all documentation is accurate and adheres to regulatory standards.
• Keep organized records of client interactions, deals, and financial models.
  
  

Financial Modeling And Analysis

• Create, update, and evaluate advanced financial models.
• Conduct valuation assessments using techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
• Assist in deal structuring by producing financial forecasts and running sensitivity scenarios.
  
  

Market and Industry Research:

• Perform in-depth research on market trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Evaluate competitors and industry conditions, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
• Keep track of financial news, market shifts, and economic factors impacting the banking sector.
  
  

Transaction Support

• Aid in the creation of pitch decks, presentations, and information packs for potential deals.
• Work alongside teams from legal, compliance, and finance to help execute transactions.
• Oversee due diligence efforts and consolidate findings to inform decision-making.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields. A Master's or CFA is preferred.
• 8 years of experience in investment banking or related areas.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel and financial software skills.
• Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment banking products, and corporate finance.
• Excellent research, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data clearly.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with great attention to detail and strong work ethics.
