Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 Dependent on Qualifications

Job Summary:
Terra Technologies LLC, a Congruex company, is seeking a senior level construction professional to be our East Region Director of Construction based in the Florida market. This position offers the opportunity for an individual to apply and expand their experience in a unique area of the underground utility construction. We are committed to developing creative and cost-effective engineering and construction solutions to resolve utility conflicts on a wide range of civil projects.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Manage and prioritize multiple utility projects, including management and oversight of construction activities and crews
- Coordination and support of our estimating team to develop bids and proposals
- Manage internal staff and assign activities
- Coordinate with Terra Technologies’ engineering team for full project delivery
- Consistently meet deadlines for deliverables
- Interact and conduct meetings with clients, public agencies, and private firms
- Make field visits and gather data
General
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent years of experience
- Must hold a State of Florida trade qualifier credential as a Certified Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor or Certified General Contractor, or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire
- 10 years of underground utility construction
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Must be a proactive and collaborative leader
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be knowledgeable or willing to obtain knowledge and gain proficiency in the following areas:
- State and DOT Utility Accommodation Manual and Design Standards
- State Standards Specifications for Roads and Bridges
- MUTCD Traffic Control Standards
- Microsoft® Office applications, Adobe, Bluebeam Revue, and internal proprietary software
