Assembler - Rough (Solder)

Vincent Bach Division of Conn-Selmer, Inc., a manufacturer of band and orchestral instruments, has an immediate opening in the Assembly Department. This is a full-time position and will be located at our Vincent Bach facility working hours from 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. We offer our employees endless opportunities to advance their careers.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all policies and procedures
• Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Work within the team toward common purpose
• Follow direction of supervisors

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Mount sub-components to valve assembly
• Solder
• Read Manufacturing Orders (MO’s) and follow routing
• Clean parts
• Other duties as assigned

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Regular attendance
• Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction
• Ability to work accurately and quickly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs unassisted.
• Frequent standing and walking
• Ability to bring objects into sharp focus visually
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Constant fingering and grasping
• Constant fingering and grasping
• Ability to sit a majority of a shift, as needed
• Ability to make judgments, perform repetitive work, attain tolerance to specified standards
• Occasional bending/stooping, squatting/crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Exposure to gasses from torches

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Soldering: 1 year (Preferred)
