Job Title: Financial Analyst
Company Type: Distribution
Location: Northbrook, IL 60062 (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $80k-$90k
What does the job entail?
- Support month-end close process through investigation of report exceptions impacting the accuracy of sales, COGS, inventory, and AP/AR
- Lead evaluation and design new reports and tools to improve month end efficiency
- Assist the team with models and financial analysis
- Work with Finance to complete periodic budgets and forecast uploads; continually evaluate the planning process for future enhancements/improvements
- Maintain user access, roles, and appropriate security levels in D365
- Maintain hierarchies, GL structure and reporting dimensions
- Concur Administration: Maintain entity, business unit and cost center information; users and roles; American Express credit card mapping; user training, support, and troubleshooting
- Maintain financial process documentation
What qualifications are required?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of Financial Systems experience, including understanding of accounting systems and general ledger
- Experience in the following required: MS Dynamics 365, MS Excel (expert proficiency) month-end tools / reporting
- Proactive and analytical, with the ability to work with a sense of urgency with minimal supervision
- Highly detailed oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task several projects on short deadlines
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and open environment
