What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/Janitor position at Connect Staffing?
- Connect Staffing, Inc.is looking to fill positions for a Housekeeping/Janitor to work at a Dietary Supplement Company located in Corona, CA.
Experience with batching, machine operating, manufacturing, or food production is a plus.
2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm
Requirements for Housekeeping Assistant:
- Open to working overtime if permitted
- Able to pass drug screening
- Reliable transportation
- Must have some experience

Responsibilities of Housekeeping Assistant:
- Ensures all sanitation, equipment and facility cleaning, programs and documentation are met according to guidelines
- Ensures that the facility is clean, waste is managed and all cleaning is documented.
- Ensures the housekeeping and cleanliness of facility restrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Conducts required pre-op inspections to ensure equipment and facility is clean prior to start of operations
- Ensures the cleanliness of the plant exterior (associate entrance, docks, dumpster areas, associate break area) and assuring trash is emptied on a timely basis
- Manages the inventory of cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools to ensure adequate supplies of these are always available at all times
- Performs routine sanitation equipment maintenance to ensure equipment functions properly.
- Responsible for the completion and submission of work orders for equipment and facility repairs.
- Ensures the availability of MSDS sheets in the MSDS book for chemicals used in daily work by team.
- Report all food safety issues to an immediate supervisor.
- Responsible for following FDA regulations & GMP’s at all times.
- Responsible for following Plant Safety Rules and OSHA Rules: understand and follow plant safety rules including/but not limited to safe lifting practices, safety on machine operations.
