Plant Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Plant Manager to oversee our small manufacturing operations and engage in troubleshooting, setup and repair of production equipment such as die casting machines and CNC Vertical Machining Centers. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing plant performance.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day plant operations, including production planning, supply chain management, quality control and assistance in troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain the production and machine schedules and processes to meet production goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Communicate with Vendors that perform secondary operations.

- Communicate with Customers concerning delivery schedules and Quality Control issues.

Experience:

- Proven experience in plant management, production planning, and operations management.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, in particular the setup and operation of Fanuc Robodrill CNC Vertical Machining Centers, some knowledge of hydraulically operated machines such as die casting machines is preferrable and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with and guide the production team.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of facility and production equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
