JOB TITLE: Manager, Creative Education

The Manager of Creative Education will report to the Executive Director. The Manager of Creative Education is responsible for the operations and performance of the social emotional learning (SEL) programs offered by Connecting Generations. In this role, s/he ensures high quality programs through program development and design, supervision of staff, evaluation of training/education staff and programs, and representation of the agency with various stakeholder groups.

Duties and Responsibilities

Program Management of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Programs

  • Oversees Administrative and fiscal operations including budget management, staffing, school and community partnerships, program implementation, expansion, and support for the SEL Programing
  • Works collaboratively with the other facilitators and school or OST personnel on the revision of program materials and further program development
  • Works collaboratively with the other Program facilitators and CG staff to develop a comprehensive recruitment plan for additional schools.
  • Create MOU’s and partner agreements, generate invoices, produce and evaluate data assessment tools for partner schools and organizations.
  • Supervises the Program Facilitators
  • Facilitates the programs in selected sites as needed.
  • Maintains a database regarding partner sites, classrooms and number of students served.
  • Create and manage the master calendar for scheduling of Program Facilitators for sessions in Individual classrooms.
  • Maintains contact with school or site personnel.
  • Provides support to the Program Facilitators and site partners including the distribution, purchasing and management of program materials
  • Coordinates facilitator evaluation with the Executive Director
  • Works with the Executive Director and development staff to produce monthly reports, annual program evaluation reports, grant data, regular articles for agency newsletter, and social media.
  • Establishes an effective Program Evaluation

Responsible for the day-to-day program operations necessary to continue to grow, deliver and evolve high quality programs.

Responsible for the development and continuation of social-emotional programming

Ensures high quality education and training experiences through on-going supervision and assessment of trainers and curriculum.

Manages revisions to curriculum and other program content.

Works in partnership with the Executive Director and the development staff in the pursuit of funding for various programs

Works in partnership with the Executive Director in the development and management of program budgets.

Responsible for evaluation process and evaluation tools for programs, curricula and trainers, including ensuring the accuracy of the on-line database.

Represents the organization at various events, meetings, and in various and appropriate organizations, e.g., the Delaware SEL Collaborative.

Be willing to travel within the state to represent the organization at various events.

Attends regularly held staff meetings and board or other meetings as requested.

Support Connecting Generations mission.

Be available evenings and/or weekends if needed to fulfill goals of organization and/or position.

Observes all CGI policies and procedures

Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Hours

  • Observes a minimum 37.5 hour work week; daily hours are flex scheduled between 7:00 – 5:00 with a half-hour for lunch.
  • This is an exempt position.

Preferred Experience

  • 5 years management/supervisory experience
  • 5 years customer sales/service experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of SEL programs
  • Experience working with confidential information

Performance Reviews

  • The Manager, Creative Education reports to the Executive Director
  • In consultation with the Executive Director, personal, professional, and programmatic goals will be established on aThe Manager will meet annually with the Executive Director to review progress towards approved goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
