Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Hotel Contract Specialist to spearhead the contracting and sourcing of hotel and venue agreements. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in negotiating with hotels and venues to cultivate and sustain robust business partnerships. Your responsibilities will encompass securing hotel room blocks, orchestrating hotel/venue function spaces for reservations and events, and collaborating seamlessly with hotels, clients, our in-house operations team, and venues to adeptly manage the agreements on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting proficient phone and written negotiations with both clients and hotels.
- Demonstrating a comprehensive grasp of the hotel contracting process, exhibiting the ability to independently negotiate hotel contracts with the utmost efficacy.
- Employing web research methodologies to identify suitable properties, conducting evaluations of social media outcomes and reputation assessments before presenting potential options to clients.
- Establishing meticulous contracts for hotel reservations across a spectrum of national and global events.
- Engaging with established and potential clients in a professional capacity.
- Drafting contracts tailored to diverse client requirements while upholding the highest standards of terms, conditions, and operational efficiency.
- Cultivating enduring relationships and fostering rapport with prominent hotel chains on both a national and international scale, effectively securing favorable conditions and rates for our esteemed clients.
- Nurturing relationships with hotels and convention support teams through active participation in pertinent business events.
- Elevating and sustaining our affiliations with Convention and Visitors Authorities, in addition to National Hotel Chain sales offices, thereby playing a pivotal role in navigating shifts in the national and international hospitality landscape to the ultimate advantage of our clients and corporate objectives.
- Proficiency in constructing reports and providing necessary upward reporting as dictated by circumstances.
- Assumption of accountability to internal management as well as clients, ensuring utmost transparency and commitment to delivering excellence.
- Cultivating a robust collaborative dynamic with the internal Travel Department, particularly concerning specific ad hoc accounts.
- Execution of all duties deemed essential for the seamless functioning and triumphant outcomes of our operations.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
