As a value-added distributor and assembler, the company maintains niche capabilities in designing cables, harnesses, box assemblies, and build to print assemblies.

Job Purpose: The Quality Manager is responsible for the development of the incoming inspection, final connector inspection, VMI inspection and final packaging/documentation inspection of the quality team.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:
- Report on performance of the quality management system, making recommendations for improvements
- Access, review and interpret customer quality requirements and industry standards
- Responsible for incoming, in-process, final inspection and calibration process performance.
- Collect, analyze and report on various quality data
- Specify quality requirements for suppliers and subcontractors
- Lead teams and manage employee development
- Assists to ensure that products and services meet all necessary requirements and have been built with compliance to regulatory standards and meets customer expectations.
- Main objective is to assist in maintaining BJG’s AS9100 certification and preserving BJG’s reputation in the aerospace industry by ensuring that our products and services are capable of driving sustainable growth.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of electronic, and/or aerospace experience
- Six Sigma with Lean Manufacturing experience
Skills:
- A proven track record of managing a team while motivating, inspiring and encouraging them.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented - you enjoy being involved in several projects, and are talented at managing expectations on an aggressive timeline
- Excellent communication skills- able to articulate your own thought process, as well as critique the work of others.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent
