Description :

This position is responsible for overseeing our yearly trade show efforts, that includes coordination of about 30 - 40 annual domestic events with specific duties including but not limited to : driving lead generation, helping develop strategic marketing tactics, preparing materials and administrative work, analyzing analytics and providing insight, suggestions and improvements as it relates to trade show management.

Essential Duties

Plan and coordinate the company’s participation in trade shows, conferences and other industry-related events to promote our company’

s brand and its products and services

  • Coordinate all related logistical tasks associated with pre-show, during show, and post show follow-up including administration, setup / breakdown, sample coordination, shipping, calendar maintenance, promotional materials preparation
  • Collaborate internally to develop event strategies, new banner displays, product promotion, objectives and key messaging to effectively represent the company
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain an up-to-date calendar of upcoming trade shows and events, ensuring timely registration and submission of required materials
  • Provide internal coordination & communication with applicable stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all related trade show vendors
  • Bring new ideas and strategies to trade show program; consistently show improvement and make decisions about future participation in shows
  • Drive lead generation efforts by coordinating pre-show and post-show marketing campaigns, including email campaigns and social media
  • Perform competitive analysis and monitor industry trends as needed
  • Procure and manage inventory of giveaways
  • Assist with the coordination of internal meetings (sales meetings, customer visits, internal & external trainings)
  • Travel to domestic shows (25% annual)
  • Assist with all other marketing projects and general administrative tasks as assigned

Work environment

  • The working conditions for this role are consistent with those in a typical in-office environment. This role may also require occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.
  • Physical Demands
  • This role requires extended periods of sitting, working with a computer and other office equipment. Interpersonal interactions on the phone or face-to-face meetings are required.
  • This role may require some lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Travel Requirements
  • This position requires 25% of time traveling domestically within the US.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years of proven experience and success in managing multiple events at one time
  • Extremely detailed oriented and able to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on a deadline basis
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and event attendees
  • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator experience
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Salesforce or CRM experience preferred
