Connoisseur Media is the #1 Media Company on Long Island, WALK, WWSK, WKJY, WBZO, and WHLI. We are reaching over 1.1 million listeners each week. Each of our radio stations has a social media presence, but we want to ramp it up and turn our platforms into the BEST in the industry, but we need your help.

Key Responsibilities:

The Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist will join the programming team and be accountable for managing and executing each station’s Social Media presence and strategy. The candidate will work directly with the programming and promotion team and ensure each radio station’s brand aligns with its social media presence.

We want the right person to serve as a brand ambassador in front and behind the camera. To help form our social media presence through image, voice, and customer experience across all listener touchpoints.

Your Role:

The Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist will work with our programming and promotion staff to execute campaigns and develop strategies to build each radio station’s online presence. It would be best if you had a tight grasp on the entertainment industry and current events relevant to each radio station’s core audience. The successful candidate will easily understand social media strategy, execution, and technology.

Develop a social strategy playbook to guide future activity, a detailed Channel Strategy with recommendations to grow social media engagement on each platform, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, etc. You will Schedule and post approved content through the content strategy and monthly calendar.

Qualifications:

· CREATIVITY is a MUST!

· Videography and Editing are a MUST

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or a related field is helpful.

· Demonstrated expertise with social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter.

· Experience writing social copy and designing layouts for social content.

· Knowledge of and experience with online analytics/measurement platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
