Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic B2B Content Specialist to join our marketing team and help develop our growing brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and promoting high-quality content that drives engagement, generates leads, and supports our business goals. This role will work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to develop content that speaks to our target audience, highlights our expertise, and positions our company as a thought leader in our industry.
Duties and responsibilities
Supports and executes a B2B content strategy that includes creating, editing, and promoting diverse types of content such as LinkedIn posts, graphics, blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, infographics, videos, webinars, and case studies.
Manages and maintains our social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with followers.
Assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, including email newsletters, social media, webinars, events, and other channels.
Responsible for updating and maintaining website content to ensure it is accurate, current, and engaging.
Manages the content calendar and ensures timely publication of content across various channels.
Analyzes content performance and uses insights to optimize content strategy and tactics.
Collaborates with external influencers, partners, and industry experts to create and promote co-branded content.
Ensures all content produced is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
Manages and optimizes the use of HubSpot for email marketing sequences and campaigns.
Collaborates with the marketing team and other departments to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and branding.
Monitors and analyzes campaign performance metrics and provides recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Assists in the planning and execution of events and webinars, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities.
Develops and manages content marketing strategies, including creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content.
Analyzes and reports on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies, as necessary.
Develops and executes internal communications and campaigns on behalf of the Senior Leadership team and in support of Connors Group corporate initiatives. Serve as a liaison to the internal Communications Committee.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, communications, or a related field.
4 or more years of experience in marketing or content creation, preferably in B2B services or consulting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Experience with social media management and content creation.
Must be able to share a portfolio of past or representative content creation.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Basic knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt, and ability to take initiative.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines.
Preferred:
Experience in the consulting, tech, or SaaS industry.
Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
Certifications in Google Ads, HubSpot, or other relevant certifications.
Working conditions
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift and carry 10 – 15 pounds at times.
