JOB TITLE: Manager CSC Farm Market
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Fiscal Services
STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time; 12 month
JOB OVERVIEW: Manage the CSC Farm Market including conduction sales, deposits, ordering of inventory, stocking, miscellaneous gift items, display, etc. Farm Market Manager must be able to perform all types of tasks given and will assist with all program fundraisers and on campus events. Manage all types of tasks that must be completed at the market. Some tasks will include the horticulture program/greenhouse and the general ag programs and its departments. Complete tasks and reports, inventories, sales reports and manage square program. Activities will occur under the supervision of the office of Agriculture Division Chair.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide assistance for the Horticulture/Grounds listed below as directed by supervisor:
· Must be willing and able to perform necessary manual tasks
· Perform the duties necessary for a successful program/business without time and weekend constraints.
· Assist with division functions including plant sales; workshops; aggie day; fall on the farm; etc.
· Keep facilities clean and in a manner that is presentable to the public
· Submit inventory stock; complete sales transactions; and build reports from a computerized system.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of business or management operations
· Knowledge of the agriculture industry
· Experience with customer service, sales, marketing, displays.
· Ability to handle plants; work inside and outside in a variety of weather.
· Ability to work well with a diverse population
· Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Associate degree required; bachelor degree preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to sit, bend, stoop, and to lift up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (i.e. high/low temperatures)
