Location: Raleigh NC
| Required Skills: • Define source-to-target mappings for loading operational system data into the data warehouse; • Define data extraction and load processing; • Create Business Objects Universe; • Work with business analysts and/or IT/business stakeholders to determine appropriate filtering, formatting and layout of the reports; • Design, develop and deploy reports based on defined business requirements; • Develop the base queries and stored procedures required for report data; • Write and execute unit test plans for testing; • Write and execute system test plans; • Create and execute release plans; • Significant experience working in the information technology area, with a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience working in a data warehousing/ETL/database development environment • Developing reports using programming languages such as SQL, SAS, SASDI, VB Scripting; • Using hardware such as e25K (UNIX), M5K (UNIX); • Using operating systems such as MVS, UNIX (Solaris), Windows NT, an application package such as Business Objects, and Utilities/Command Languages such as UNIX and UNIX Shell Scripting; • Minimum seven (7) years experience deploying Report Builder solutions for ad-hoc report development; • Very strong experience developing base queries and stored procedures required for reports; • Advanced knowledge of SQL and experienced in SQL query tuning; • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; • Ability to follow directions and work either independently or as a team; • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience complying with DHHS System Development Life Cycle methodology • Experience using TSO, Visio, and ISQL JCL |
