Job Description:

A Lead Full Stack Developer is responsible for working with the current project team of designers, test engineers, analysts, and senior managers, to implement new features and enhancements for the existing platform for our government client. This role will also assist with production support as necessary and involve mentoring/leading more junior developers. A Lead Full-Stack Developer is capable of orchestrating an entire end to end feature (front end, back-end, data) and adapt to the existing microservices architecture with little direction. Must be able to come in and hit the ground running. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Work collaboratively with the functional and development teams to add new features and enhance our platform
  

• Has worked in an Agile environment through the full Software Development Lifecycle
  

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, doesn't get too distracted and can work effectively on remote days
  

• An individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you can mentor and guide other talented individuals - someone who leads by serving those he or she leads
  

Requirements

• 7 years of Java Development experience
  

• Expert with Docker, Angular (Angular JS, Angular 6), SQL/NoSQL (Oracle, MongoDB), JIRA
  

• Has the drive to mentor and guide others - someone who pioneers the process and wants to push projects forward
  

• Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices
  

• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with team members and business partners
  

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes - personal experience 
  

• API Development
  

• Kafka or rabbitMQ experience (streaming, event driven)
  

• Experience managing a team of 7-10 people
