What you will be doing:
Maintenance: Regular maintenance is crucial for the efficient operation of HVAC and Refrigeration systems. Technicians perform routine inspections, cleanings, and adjustments to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Repair:
HVAC: When HVAC systems malfunction or experience breakdowns, technicians diagnose the issues and perform necessary repairs. This may involve troubleshooting electrical or mechanical problems, replacing faulty components, or fixing leaks.
Repair and replace faulty components, such as compressors, valves, motors, thermostats, and electrical wiring.
Refrigeration: Maintaining and repairing cooler display cases, ice machines, walk-in and reach-in coolers, frozen beverage machines, and fountain beverage machines. Troubleshoot issues such as temperature fluctuations, leaks, and electrical problems. Replace or repair defective parts, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, and ice machine components.
System Upgrades: Technicians may be involved in upgrading existing HVAC and refrigeration systems to improve energy efficiency, comply with new regulations, or meet the changing needs of the building occupants.
What you need for this position:
3 years of experience within the HVAC trade
Must have EPA certification
Refrigeration knowledge
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
Able to work independently
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
