Summary :

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Warehouse Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility.

As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations.

You will be responsible for organizing and managing inventory, supervising a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring that all safety and compliance protocols are followed.

Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods.

The ideal candidate for this role must have strong leadership and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

You should also have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and best practices, as well as experience using inventory management software.

Reports to : Location Manager

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Proven experience as a warehouse lead or similar role
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Proficient in using inventory management software and other warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations, including OSHA requirements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and departments

Preferred Qualifications :

• Forklift experience
• Experience driving trucks up to 10,000lbs (non-CDL)

Working Conditions :

Warehouse environment (concrete floors) and outdoor conditions (on asphalt, gravel, or grass) including sometimes extreme hot / cold temperatures.

Some job functions may require extended periods of sitting.

Essential Job Functions :

• Oversee and manage warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
• Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support as needed
• Ensure all safety and compliance protocols are followed, including proper handling of hazardous materials
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, conducting regular cycle counts and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate daily activities and ensure on-time delivery of goods
• Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices, safety procedures, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, including proper storage and disposal of materials
