Responsibilities:

• Achieving Revenue Goals: Consistently meeting or exceeding all print and digital revenue targets.
• Client-Centered Solutions: Understanding clients' advertising needs and developing customized marketing solutions using a consultative sales approach.
• Dynamic Presentations: Delivering tailored sales presentations in person, by phone, or through web demos.
• Prospecting and Lead Generation: Generating new leads through cold calls and staying informed about new businesses in the area.
• Customer-Focused: Being the face of The Anniston Star and ensuring superior customer experience.
• Adaptability: Willingness to take on other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven Sales Experience: 2 years of sales experience with a track record of exceeding goals.
• Educational Passion: A passion for educating clients about their marketing options and the ability to close deals.
• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Digital Proficiency: Strong computer skills, with experience in digital sales being a plus.
• Educational Background: High school degree is necessary.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred.
• Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is required.

Benefits: Includes medical insurance through Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Alabama. Paid time-off starts at 20 days per year after 90 days of employment.
