JOB SUMMARY
The Blue Heart EMS Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, outside agency interface, facilitating scheduling needs, equipment and supply maintenance, as well as other operational support functions as assigned by the CEO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Supervise and evaluate all field employees in their assigned area.
- Liaise with patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital personnel, and other system users as needed.
- Marketing for new patients
- Mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide counseling actions as required in collaboration with the CEO.
- Ensure Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and other field paperwork is 100% reconciled daily in conjunction with the PCR processing.
- New Patient intake process
- Create routes for patient transportation.
- Provide guidance, counseling, and information regarding Blue Heart EMS operations to staff.
- Promptly investigate incidents involving assigned units or personnel, including, filing of internal and external reports, and counseling staff.
- Ensure maintenance of adequate levels of staffing, equipment and medical supplies for field units.
- Hiring new employees
- Facilitate onboarding process of new employees (orientation)
- Prepare reports and manage projects as assigned by the Regional Director of Operations.
- Maintain availability and attend scheduled meetings as required by the Regional Director of Operations.
- Manage all aspects of MIH vehicles including, but not limited to maintenance, registration, on-board equipment (e.g. inverters, refrigerators), maintaining mileage logs, etc.
- Ensure all team members are up-to-date on all regulatory training ( emt, B and A etc.) and that all certifications are uploaded into the appropriate systems.
- Subject matter expert on all clinical equipment. Responsible for maintaining equipment, associated supplies, and coordinates with vendors for additional training as needed.
- Manage all aspects of facilities including, but not limited to maintenance/work orders, inspections, etc.
- Manage the team member shift schedule in the appropriate system and ensure all shifts are covered.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis to aid in continuous process improvement building operational efficiency.
- Recruiting team members. (Licensed EMT's)

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
