Position Summary
- Reports To: Aircraft Maintenance Foreman, and reports to an aircraft technician as required ensuring all tasks are performed under the supervision of a licensed mechanic. This is a non-supervisory position.
- Human Interaction / Communication: In performing the job, an individual in this position experiences significant interface with his or her immediate supervisor, lead workers, and other employees
- Performs receptionist and support duties, including but not limited to, answering of telephones, distribution of mail, and maintenance of office supplies. Assists the Flight Schedulers, Flight Coordinator, and Director of Maintenance with administrative duties as required, including record-keeping, data entry, FOS (Flight Operating System), preparation of reports, and aircraft scheduling functions.
Responsibilities
- Cleans aircraft exterior and interior in accordance with aircraft manufacturer instructions, company policy and his/her supervisor’s instructions.
- Replenishes aircraft supplies, supply stocking and supply shopping as required
- Notifies maintenance personnel of maintenance discrepancies when found • Polishes aircraft “bright work” as needed.
- Accomplishes minor touch up painting as instructed
- Removes and installs fasteners on inspection access plates on the aircraft when directed.
- Cleans and organizes storage and work areas as directed.
- Lifts and carries hand tools and work materials, ascends and descends ladders and platforms, and frequently works in a variety of positions such as stooping, kneeling or squatting.
- Follows safety procedures and wears / uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed.
- Reads instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
- Communicates effectively in English regarding work activities, per FAA requirements.
- Prepares and maintains simple records such as logs, and time and material records, as instructed. • Assists with aircraft parts inventory as well as shipping and receiving.
- Regular office cleaning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Occasional lifting up to 65 lbs.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- No experience required, however, basic technical aptitude, attention to detail and strong work ethic required.

- Primary work environment is within an aircraft, aircraft hangar as well as within an office setting.

The salary range for this role is:
$23.06 - $46.20
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
