Expected salary range of $119,700 to $133,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide a leadership role in the supervision of laboratory activities and projects. Provide coaching and mentoring for all laboratory activities. Maintain Chemistry analytical and radioanalytical programs including all quality and regulatory aspects of the program.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Supervise Chemistry Technicians & Chemists. This includes coaching and mentoring, reinforcing the fundamentals, scheduling, and maintaining working files.
• Lead and provide support for Chemistry related projects.
• Participate and facilitate the training program.
• Manage all sampling systems and the data management system
• Support management of the Chemistry budget.
• Participate in GSEP rotation. Subject to call out as required in support of station requirements.
• Lead safe and reliable laboratory operation of instruments while maintaining housekeeping

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Chemistry technician qualification
• Or Navy ELT with 5 years nuclear plant experience
• Or 4 year technical degree and 5 years of non-plant experience
• Or 8 years nuclear plant experience
• Minimum: Assessment Center Qualification
• ANSI Qualification: - 3 years related experience which shall include 1 year nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Chemistry or Chem Eng Degree
• Supervisory experience
• FLS Qualification
• Chemistry technician experience
