Cloud Software Architect

Constellation Dealership Software companies, Ideal, c-Systems and Charter, have developed the largest database of dealership transactional sales, inventory position and task completion information in the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) market.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions using .NET tech stack / AZURE
• Hands-on role in architecture and development of cloud native product and platform with core focus on lifetime cost, deployability, scalability, and performance.
• Providing the software developers with architectural blueprints, they should follow
• Define patterns and develop reusable components and libraries
• Design and develop micro-services with thoughtfully defined APIs in a serverless architecture.
• Mentor other members of the team by sharing their skills and expertise and by setting a positive example.
• Designing documents and high-level product specifications
• Reporting to stakeholders about technical requirement

Experience/Skills include:

• 8 years experience designing service-based solutions to develop high volume, high availability, secure web/mobile applications
• 8 years experience C# and the .NET Framework
• 8 years experience working with data in a relational database with preference given to Microsoft’s SQL Server
• 8 years experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful services, including understanding of the main tenets of what makes a service RESTful
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• 3-5 years experience working with Microsoft Azure - SignalR, App Services, Event Grid, Functions
• Experience working in an Agile development environment (Nice to have)
• Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, Serverless, NoSQL Databases (Nice to have)
• JavaScript frameworks such as React (Nice to Have)
• Experience on AI and ML Technologies (Nice to have)
• B.S. or higher in CIS, MIS, CS or other appropriate field of study. 10 years of software development experience with 4 years of Software Architecture experience

Location: Arlington, TX is preferred, but not mandatory
