The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced and motivated Bar captain to join our Constellation team in Miami, FL. As an event captain, you will have the opportunity to ensure smooth food service for a variety of events and supervise front and back of house activity.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading a team of event staff to direct a successful service.
- Facilitating transportation of equipment and service, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of catering equipment and storage areas, and room decoration.
- Setting up and breaking down all front of house and back of house bars and beverage stations.
- Handling customer service needs.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.
- At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.
- Ability to memorize and describe a variety of recipes, especially for mixed beverages.
Nice-to-haves:
- Food Handler’s certification
