What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master position at Constellis?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Master Driver Instructor shall report to the Project Manager and shall be responsible for providing on-road, unimproved road, and off-road driver instructor training to include, but not limited to, basic operating instructions, drivers’ safety, emergency procedures, and towing operations.
This position is in anticipation of a contract award. Please note the location of this position will be in Zambia full-time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and oversee the training of ZDF personnel responsible for manning delivered APCs
- Advise on best training practices
- Oversee training cadre and students during APC training operations.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience of providing driver instructor training for crews operating wheeled APCs and an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the vehicle in all terrains and weather conditions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing training related to tactical considerations to include emergency evacuation and procedures to protect occupants.
- Experience with developing Programs of Instruction (POIs) for military partners in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Expertise in rollover training and self-recovery, including entry and exit.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
