About the Project Coordinator Job:
A project coordinator will work closely with a project manager and senior management to ensure the project is properly documented including all necessary documentation for the customer and supporting the subcontractor base. A coordinator will work on multiple projects concurrently. The coordinator is a support position that requires excellent communication skills, computer skills, and is well organized. The position will require the coordinator to work in multiple software platforms including a project management database, QuickBooks, the Microsoft Office Suite, and others as required. In addition, the coordinator position will serve as administrative support of the project superintendents in the field.
Location and Schedule Requirements:
Constructable has a primary office in The Woodlands, Texas. The candidate will be expected to be available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time in the office in The Woodlands, TX.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for a project coordinator at Constructable include but are not limited to the following duties:
- Ensure all contract documents are in place prior to commencement of the project.
- Document all stakeholders and assist in maintaining stakeholder registry.
- Produce all necessary paperwork for monthly client applications for payment (invoices) including ensuring the proper certificates of insurance are requested and produce necessary releases of liens.
- Receive and enter subcontractor and supplier pay requests and ensuring Constructable has received all necessary documents prior to release of payment.
- Coordinate with the customer for payment and monitor activity and aging receivables.
- Coordinate with the subcontractors and suppliers for payments.
- Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure all applicable Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are current.
- Assist in the job cost accounting efforts for each project coordinated.
- Maintain project workflow to ensure critical activities and requirements are fulfilled.
- Complete subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and work orders at the direction of the project manager.
- Assist in all change order management and documentation.
- Serve as the project communication facilitator.
- Assist with RFI’s (Requests for Information), Submittals, Transmittals, and project closeout documentation.
- Ensure all subcontractor warranties are received.
- Assist with project closeout documentation.
- Assist with procurement of services for temporary utilities, temporary housing, site offices, dumpsters, and site toilets.
- Complete daily required tasks of construction logs, delivery logs, and photographs.
- Coordinate weekly reports to the client, ensuring all project documentation is submitted as required.
- Coordinate all progress meetings.
- Ensure site safety requirements are being met to company standards and is being documented.
- Take part in project initiation process and project close-out procedures.
- Keep accurate records of meetings, phone conversations, client engagement, and subcontractor and supplier communication.
- Maintain the TeamLink portal in the Construction Management database.
Qualifications:
- Self-starting individual
- Computer skills, including MS Office
- Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
- Understanding of Construction Project Management
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Background in project management
- Background in General Construction including contracts, negotiations, and documentation
- Understanding of cost accounting
Project Coordinator Pay Our Project Coordinators will be paid based on previous project coordination experience, with a range from $30k to $50k per year.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
