Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Secretary to join our team. As a Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Duties:
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, and mailing
- Type and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Provide customer service and support to clients
- Enter orders into the system accurately
- Transcribe notes and dictations as needed
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are organized and easily accessible
Skills:
- Proven experience as a secretary or administrative assistant
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties is a plus
- Strong event planning skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in phone etiquette
- Accurate data entry and order entry skills
- Ability to transcribe notes accurately
