RBT Position Summary:
The RBT will use evidence-based protocols and positive reinforcement to teach or increase language and communication skills, promote play and social skills, encourage daily living activities, and develop pre-academic skills in the home, community, and/or school setting. You will directly contribute to our client's success stories by providing them with the necessary skills to be successful!
RBT Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implement one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention programs to children in a home, school or other environments as needed
- Observe and collect data on the child's behavior
- Teach child the specific behavior skills called for in the treatment plan
- Attend regular supervisory meetings with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Maintain clear lines of communication and professional boundaries
RBT Requirements:
- Patience
- Ability to interact well with active children
- Ability to work cooperatively as a therapy team member, and work independently
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Abide by the RBT ethics code
- Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Clean background and positive references
- Must be able to lift 40lbs, run, kneel, stand, play and more
