We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As we embark on transitioning to ISO 202022 standards, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant transformation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality Java-based solutions for ACH, Nacha, Swift, and Payments systems.
- Utilize expertise in Java, JSON, and Microservices/Spring/J2EE to build scalable and efficient applications that meet business requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to the transition to ISO 202022 standards by providing technical insights, recommendations, and hands-on support to the wire team.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to ensure thorough testing of applications and troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Java development within the FinTech or Banking industry.
- Strong understanding of ACH, Nacha, Swift, and Payments systems, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Java-based applications.
- Proficiency in Java, JSON, and Microservices/Spring/J2EE.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
