Role Overview:

As a Talent Acquisition Generalist, you will work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and Leaders to support the end-to-end candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on data, embraces change, and is not content with mediocrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Journey Specialist: Your primary focus will be on ensuring a seamless and exceptional candidate experience. This involves reaching out to applicants promptly, demonstrating empathy, and skillfully conducting qualifying screening conversations.
  • Event Evangelist: You will serve as a champion for candidate attraction events, collaborating with Talent Acquisition Partners to execute attraction strategies effectively. This includes coordinating event logistics, ensuring the availability of promotional materials, and facilitating event registration processes.
  • Creative Contributor: Utilize your creativity to enhance our talent attraction efforts. This includes assisting in crafting compelling job descriptions, leveraging various job boards for role postings, and engaging with diverse candidate-focused partners to broaden our talent pool. Additionally, you will maintain active job postings to ensure visibility.
  • Data and Reporting Expert: Dive into data analytics to derive insights that inform our talent acquisition strategies. You will work extensively with tools like Excel, Taleo, and our data analytics team to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Moreover, you'll be responsible for sharing insights and progress updates with stakeholders across the organization.

What Skills You Need to Bring Day One (we will help develop the rest):

  • Recruitment Experience: Ideally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in recruiting or human resources, preferably in a competitive environment. This experience will provide a solid foundation for understanding the recruitment process and dynamics.
  • Recruitment Components: A basic understanding of various recruitment components is essential. This includes familiarity with sourcing strategies, candidate qualification techniques, networking practices, assessment methods, job analysis principles, and knowledge of wage and salary trends.
  • Proficiency with Tools: You should have proficiency in using Microsoft Suite, with a particular focus on Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with Taleo or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is highly preferred, as it will facilitate efficient management of recruitment processes.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for handling multiple tasks, prioritizing activities, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary for effectively engaging with candidates, collaborating with team members, and conveying information clearly and professionally.
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking: Basic analytical and critical thinking skills are required for evaluating candidate profiles, assessing recruitment strategies, and making informed decisions based on data and insights.
  • Willingness to Learn: You should be open to being mentored by experienced professionals and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop your skills further to effectively execute job responsibilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is essential. You should be able to contribute positively to team dynamics, share knowledge and ideas, and support team goals and objectives.

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)

  • Minimum Salary: $50,000
  • Maximum Salary: $65,000

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Our Talent Acquisition team are able to answer any additional questions you may have as you move through the selection process.
