Job Summary:
CTI’s Document and Records Manager will provide information to the customer based on the technical specifications and design requirements for each contract. Once accepted by the customer, the Document and Records Manager will flow down information to be incorporated into design, production, quality assurance inspection and testing for the contract. The Document and Records Manager will then store all relevant information in CTI’s record management system to provide long-term evidence of those activities; essentially becoming a centralized hub for all documentation.
Responsibilities:
· Inputs internal information and unmanaged external information
· Generate or capture information throughout the production process, review and approve as needed.
· Work directly with CTI Engineering & Quality to incorporate document/design changes as needed.
· Generate shop travelers to production, using internal QA forms and approved design information from customer.
· Maintain all material traceability.
· Compile customer document packages based off Technical Specifications, issue to Quality for review & approval.
· Direct & manage customer inquiries related to submittals.
· Classify information to ensure it is grouped within the correct context according to the established criteria.
· Verify and authorize that the information meets established standards and quality requirements. If it is not acceptable, work with the originating department to either fix the information or obtain conforming information. Checking for:
· Determine if information should become a controlled document.
· Ensure documentation is issued to customers and distributed to team in a timely manner.
