Summary:
Contango Resources is seeking a full-time CO2 Compression Operator for their Enhanced Oil Recovery project in the Salt Creek Oil Field. In addition to previous experience working with CO2, the ideal candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, be productive working both as an individual and as a part of a team, and possess the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidate must be willing to work in unfavorable conditions including extreme cold, heat, snow, and wind. This position requires periodic on-call responsibly and occasional overtime hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform daily walk-throughs of compression stations
- Participate in routine compressor maintenance and general housekeeping activity
- Troubleshoot and resolve compression issues
- Manage alarms at compression facilities
- Monitor and make adjustments to compression facilities
- Support field operations to ensure optimal run time of compression facilities

Preferred Education, Training & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years relatable compression experience preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid, insurable driver’s license
Working Conditions:
- Conditions vary from an indoor/office setting to working outdoors in inclement weather.
- Travel on hazardous roads may be required.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- Respond to and address callouts and emergencies after regular business hours as needed.
- Continuous work with and around industrial hazards.
- Will be required to carry a company cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
