Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Tech to join our manufacturing team in Montgomery, AL. This is a full time employment opportunity offering competitive pay, benefits and PTO during the first year of employment
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for checking all phases of production by using the established quality control manuals, equipment and must follow the quality check sheet procedure.
- Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Performs tests on all pipe samples.
- Checks all stages of production to ensure a quality product is being produced.
- Generate tests reports on documented check sheets and then placed with proper job file.
- Calibrates all quality equipment daily.
- Maintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly conditions.
- Conducts daily inspection of all product lines.
- Coach and train other works and quality requirements.
- Performs other related work as directed by supervision.
- Participates and helps implement plant safety program
- Acts as plant Liaison with outside Agencies.
Requirements
- Good organizational skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Ability to operate and maintain all assigned equipment and tools.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
