Job Description

Placement Counselor- Hybrid

A diligent job-seeker is needed for Placement Counselor position with our client in Philadelphia, PA! As the Placement Counselor, you will primarily be responsible for providing appropriate community service sites, job search and job placement activities. This temporary-to-hire role offers up to $25/ HR!

Responsibilities of the Placement Counselor Include:

  • Provide appropriate community service sites, job search and job placement activities; place clients at those sites
  • Arrange for on-site employer presentations
  • Develop on-going relationships with employers
  • Facilitate employment and other related work shops
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Placement Counselor Include:

  • Experience in workforce management
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and collaborate with a variety of customers in the Welfare to Work Industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
