What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Continental Careers?
Continental Properties is looking for a CAD Technician to join our Design team at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. As Cad Technician, you will provide design and drafting support for architectural and civil site development projects from the conceptual phase through construction documents. You will support drafting of new building concepts and required modifications to existing prototypes, and large-scale site programming. You will report to the CAD Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist the Design team with multifamily footprints, floor plans and elevations, maintenance of all prototypical building plans and special projects.
- Collaborate with Design team to develop solutions to complex design problems
- Prepare colored site plans, presentation materials and exhibits.
- Coordinate with marketing team on keeping all site plans current on the web pages and marketing materials.
- Assist project teams on site planning design and drawings.
- Review metes and bounds legal descriptions from surveyors to verify closure and accuracy and prepare exhibits for legal agreements.
Skills for Success:
- Two-year degree in drafting, engineering, or architecture; or equivalent experience required.
- One to Two years of related experience preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 (or higher), Revit, Photoshop, and Sketch-Up; or other applicable software.
