Description:

Contour Data Solutions is the premier provider for Strategic IT Solutions and Data Management. The core focus of Contour's business strategy is the customer and as a Sr Microsoft Engineer you will primarily be responsible for the service and coordination of customer support. Carrying our methodologies through to conclusion and ensuring Customer satisfaction with the product, implementation, processes and the documentation left behind. This position will need to be self-driven and effectively self-managed. The Sr Microsoft Engineer will be responsible for post-sales support for all Contour customers. This will require you to explain in detail both the feature functionality of the products as well as the Contour implementation and service methodology. The Sr Microsoft Engineer will coordinate trouble tickets from open to close even if tickets are escalated to higher tiers or external partners. This will include interaction with the Contour Sales staff to understand the expectations set, and review afterward. The Sr Microsoft Engineer will complete all necessary documentation. For every customer and every project, the Sr Microsoft Engineer will ensure that things are resolved and identify any additional opportunities for Contour.

Major Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement internal and customer facing systems
• Asses, remediate, and implement best practices in customer environments
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans, following best practices
• Provide after-hours weekend support for emergencies as well as occasional maintenance on a rotating on call schedule.
• Mentor / Cross Train team members on existing and new technologies
• Troubleshooting issues tickets as well as participate in project work
• Migrating customers on premise Microsoft applications to cloud solutions
• Review and engineer technical requirements and business functional requirements to establish new

Cloud based and on-premise environments

• Execute assessment, migration and implementation plans to deploy Microsoft 365 solutions and migrate environments (email, SharePoint, etc.) from on-premise systems to Microsoft 365
• Assisting Sales representative in meetings and paperwork regarding your areas of expertise
• Other duties as assigned and at management's direction.

Qualifications needed:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS)or another similar technical discipline
• Experience may substitute degree
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting
• Advanced knowledge of AD, ADFS, GPO, LDAP, SSO, and SSPR administration and implementation
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
• Advanced knowledge of Office 365 administration and migration
• Advanced knowledge of Azure administration and migration
• Administrative knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems
• Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policy design and configuration
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
• Must be a team player
