What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Convenient MD?

What you’ll do:
- Patient triage, to include but not limited to: vital signs; medical history; observational examination.
- Assist with any and all patient exams, testing and procedures under the direction of the provider
- Blood draw/phlebotomy
- Administration of medication and immunizations as outlined by the CMD Medical Assistant scope of practice
- Assist with patient call backs to include, but not limited to, answering of patient questions within scope, reporting test results, medication/therapy changes.
- Assists in maintaining adequate clinical supplies inventory by checking & notating when stock levels are low
About you:
- Graduate of Medical Assistant program
- Medical Assistant Certification and/or clinical experience preferred (required in MA locations)
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Preferred; American Red Cross BLS Certification Accepted
- Must be able to work 12hr shifts and weekends
