The Role
Convey is seeking a smart, passionate and collaborative Product Analyst to join our Product Team. If you are obsessed with data, analytics, and your users, then you may be the perfect fit.
Convey’s products power better consumer delivery experiences and outcomes for some of the largest ecommerce retailers in the world, like Walmart, The Home Depot, Costco, H&M and Casper Mattresses. In this highly collaborative role, you will have two very important focus areas. First, you will work with the Product and Customer Success Teams on our internal engagement and data quality insights, customers' return on investment (ROI), and productized customer reporting and analytics, ensuring that Convey users are successful. Second, you will collaborate with Convey’s Public Relations and Marketing Teams to surface interesting industry insights, which ultimately lead to generating company revenue.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on product engagement insights to the company.
- Partner with the Product Team to identify measurable Product KPIs
- Communicate key findings and results in verbal, visual, and written media.
- Create a framework to provide data quality visibility to internal key stakeholders and our customers.
- As a key stakeholder, provide a perspective on how we productize reporting and analytics across all of our product modules.
- Collaborate directly with our enterprise retailer customers on how to solve their reporting and analytics needs.
- Create productized and custom reports via our BI tool, Sisense.
- Drive to improve models, presentations, processes and data quality over time -- always be innovating and improving.
- Collaborate with Convey customers and internal stakeholders to develop measurement frameworks and build models for both ROI and engagement.
- Scour Convey’s expansive data-set for valuable insights or work with our PR and Marketing teams on data requests from high profile media.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, math or statistics.
- 3+ years of experience as a business or financial analyst at a software or technology company.
- Curious nature with an enthusiasm for making an impact.
- Ability to self-manage and act with autonomy.
- Experience building ROI models and financial models.
- Experience with the analytics tools of modern, cloud-based software development: SQL, RedShift, Google Analytics, Tableau / Sisense (or similar BI tools), Python, Excel, GitHub, Jira.
- Extremely strong verbal, visual and written communication skills, and can message appropriately to both internal and external stakeholders across a range of functional skills and stakeholder types. Consulting experience, in particular in the financial or management consulting fields, is a plus.
- Passion and empathy for the product and for our users and strong belief in the mission of creating customer and user value.
- Ecommerce, supply chain, and/or logistics experience is a plus.
- Must be located in the US or Canada.
