We are looking for an Assistant Controller.

Success would mean having a strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting etc.)
- Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
- Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
- Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
- Participate in preparation for the annual audit
- Help in development of reports for management, be hands-on when required and in compliance with US GAAP
- Prepare quarterly and annual FCC filings
- Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- Handle all treasury transactions
- Monitor and analyze financial accounting data, with emphasis on coding accuracy of general ledger accounts and departments.
- Ensure timely payment of all accounts payable
- Ensure timely billing and collections of all accounts receivable
- Communicate with customers/vendors/employees regarding questions/concerns
- Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
- Ad hoc projects and analyses
- Zuora experience preferred
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or accounting and three years of related experience
- Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting as per US GAAP
- Accounts payable experience required; bookkeeping experience required
- Have the ability to work in the office or independently/remotely.
- Proven ability to quickly generate and communicate accurate financial information.
- Proper and effective use of English grammar and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Team Player with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
